Shrimp Daddy is not just a restaurant. It is a vision that two friends shared.
Our story begins in San Francisco with Eric & Parkson. They were college friends who coincidentally happened to move to Taipei at the same time.
Having grown up in the restaurant industry, Eric always wanted to start a business of his own.
Parkson was interested in the restaurant industry as well. After several visits to New Orleans, (his girlfriend Vonnie’s hometown) he fell in love with the food & culture — specifically the crawfish boils!
In New Orleans, friends & family gather for crawfish boils to celebrate events or just to hang out with friends and family - eating & drinking. Crawfish boils are usually at someones back yard or at a park. And no crawfish boil is complete without a bucket of ice cold beer.
Eric & Parkson decided that this was an experience they wanted to introduce to Taiwan.
They wanted to create a fun & casual dining environment for friends & family of all ages to enjoy. Eat some yummy food, drink some drinks, have a few laughs, take a few pictures — just relax as if you are in your own backyards & truly enjoy your time together.
Here at Shrimp Daddy, we believe that: Our home is your home!
So go ahead, order a boil & some beers & get ready to get dirty! …And dont forget! Who’s YOUR daddy?!
Cheers! !~~ or as they like to say in New Orleans: “Laissez les bon temps rouler” (Lazay Lay Bon Tom Roulay) —- “Let the good times roll!”
